Responsible and accountable for the day-to-day operation of the facility

Responsible for truck unloading, oil emulsion and water \& vac trucks.

Loading water and oil trucks while ensuring compliance with all classification requirements in accordance with applicable governance regulations.

Participating in waste processing, waste and mud tank operation, shaker \& centrifuge operations and solids treating
-
Decontaminating and handling NORM impacted pipe in accordance with safety and environmental regulations
-
Conducting proper cleaning, segregation, and disposal of NORM-impacted materials
-
Responsible and accountable for the receipt, terminal storage and transportation of crude oil while adhering to Measurement \& Crude Oil Quality compliance
-
Conducting treatment of solids on the waste pad
-
Conducting boiler operations, testing and steam system operations
-
Ensuring that all corporate compliance programs are adhered to
-
Submitting truck tickets summary, daily plant checklists, and balance and transfers to the office
-
Participates in the Health \& Safety Management System (HSMS)
-
Waste plant operation (ensuring solids processing is meeting or exceeding landfill criteria and solids testing)
-
General maintenance, ensure that the plant is kept clean and safe
-
A High School Diploma, General Education Diploma or equivalent
-
A minimum of 1-3 years operational experience in waste processing and oil treating or water injection is an asset
-
Specialty training in boilers, treaters, pumps (all), repairs, shaker/centrifuge and loader is considered an asset
-
Proven ability to demonstrate strong methods regarding all processes in the plant, including; safety operations, oil treating \& blending, waste processing and water disposal
-
Current and valid safety tickets, including H2S Alive, First Aid Level One C, Confined Space Entry, WHIMS and TDG
-
A strong attention to detail, communication skills with the ability to work long hours in a mentally and physically demanding work environment
-
Must be able to document their work, perform and manage cross shift communication and ensure strategic communication with multiple stakeholders
-
Must be able to multi-task and demonstrate excellent decision-making skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues
-
Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and safe work practices
-
A valid and acceptable Driver's license and successful completion of Pre-employment testing
