We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our elite production and engineering team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Technician at RK Wire Harness, your core responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the design, development and testing of wire harnesses, cable assemblies and associated electrical systems
- Support inspection and evaluation of incoming components to ensure compliance with product specifications and tolerances
- Participate in the assembly and testing of prototypes to verify functionality against customer provided design specifications
- Conduct full functional test and record results for harness assemblies and electrical subsystems before ship out
- Setup, operate and maintain electrical and electronic equipment used in the manufacturing and testing processes
- Assist with development of standard operating procedures and electrical schematics for various assemblies and electrical subsystems
- Calibrate testing instruments and equipment in accordance with manuals and written procedures
- Collect and compile test data and assist in the preparation of estimates, specifications and technical reports
Skills and Requirements:
- Completion of a 1--2 year college program in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology (or equivalent)
- Technical knowledge of electrical and electronics components and interconnect systems
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with electronic test equipment, calibration tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Working knowledge of Electrical CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD or DraftSight)
- Ability to create schematics, develop BOMs and technical documentation
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement

Pay: $20.50-$24.00 per hour
