Position Title: Junior Financial Analyst

Working Hours: 9:00 AM -- 5:00 PM
Reason for Opening: Backfill for production staff
Team Responsibilities
- End-to-end accounting support from sub-ledgers to general ledger systems
- Accuracy and integrity of general ledger, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Adherence to accounting policies and best practices
- Complex financial analysis and investigations
- Process and control improvement initiatives
- Readiness assessment for new product launches, accounting standards, or system upgrades
- Contribution to change initiatives, including requirement gathering, testing, and reviews
- Collaboration with stakeholders across Front Office, Finance, Risk, Technology, Operations, and other teams to enhance processes and controls
Position Responsibilities
- Preparing and posting journal entries
- Performing reconciliations and resolving system-to-ledger discrepancies
- Investigating and resolving issues promptly, with recommendations for improvement
- Collaborating with Finance, P\&L, Operations, and Technology stakeholders
- Supporting system upgrades through testing and documentation
- Identifying automation opportunities and implementing approved process changes
- Ensuring accuracy and quality of deliverables, with awareness of downstream impact
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- 1--2 years of related experience (preferably in accounting or financial operations)
- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with VBA
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively
- Focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the financial services or Capital Markets sector
- Knowledge of Broadridge, ADP, or BPS systems

The target hiring compensation range for this role is 25/hr-30/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
