What You'll Do:
- Underwrite A, B and C mortgage applications including coordination of preparation of approval package via support staff for borrowers to sign
- Advise clients on the best mortgage options and negotiate with lenders as well as borrowers for best pricing
- Work with lenders, clients, lawyers, appraisers and support staff
- Complete compliance for all funded deals
- Demonstrate strong credit decision-making and sound risk assessments by evaluating, analyzing and reviewing each mortgage application
- Coordination of document collection with support staff as required with ability to evaluate/analyze same documentation
About You:
- 3+ years of mortgage underwriting experience
- Ability to perform under pressure, excellent customer service, organizational, multi-tasking skills
- Familiar with Velocity/Filogix software
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Licensed Mortgage Agent Level 2
