Our retail client is looking for a Director of Marketing (Brand and Product) for a maternity leave contract. This will be fulltime salaried, for 12+ months. The role is fulltime hours per week. What you'll be doing:
- Leading product positioning, messaging strategy and integrated marketing plans that support target audiences.
- You will be defining product value propositions and differentiators that resonate with target audiences.
- You will create comprehensive messaging and positioning documents with channelspecificity and regional context.
- You will be working closely with functional marketing leads, and you will create integrated marketing plans toensure cohesion of message across customer touchpoints.
- You will analyze competitor marketing strategies.
- You will plan and execute product launches, partnering with the internal creative team and external agencies to bring the product positioning to life.
- You will deliver integrated campaigns, while working closely with their in-house digital media team, PR and social teams to ensure a consistent earned/owned/paid voice.
- You will work closely with the product management team to ensure alignment on the product roadmap and packaging strategies.
What the client is looking for:
- 10+ years in marketing leadership role
- Experience in ecommerce is ideal.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, competitive positioning, and market trends.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and regional marketing teams.
- Experience working on International marketing plans.
- Experience working with a physical consumer product (tech is a bonus!).
