Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Developer or Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in migrating on-premise applications to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). This role focuses on hands-on engineering, development, and implementation of modern cloud-native solutions for enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of thin client applications from on-premise infrastructure to AWS or Azure.
- Design and implement Kubernetes-based containerization strategies.
- Develop and support event-driven architectures using cloud-native tools and services.
- Implement and manage Cloud DevOps pipelines including CI/CD, automation, and monitoring.
- Design and optimize cloud-native database solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Ensure best practices for data security and compliance within cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into cloud-based solutions.
- Maintain deep technical knowledge of AWS and Azure service offerings and their appropriate use cases.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record of successful cloud migrations, particularly for enterprise-level systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- Expertise in Kubernetes , Docker, and other container technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Terraform, etc.).
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with cloud-native databases (e.g., Cosmos DB, DynamoDB, Aurora).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer , Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or similar.
- Experience in application modernization and legacy system transformation.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) and DevSecOps practices.
