Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a QA and Testing Engineer Co-op at dynaCERT Inc. The QA Engineer will be responsible for quality control, quality assurance, and quality management processes to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of our HydraLytica Portal and Mobile applications.
Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts to ensure the quality and efficiency of software.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to define testing requirements and automation strategies.
• Identify issues and propose preventive solutions throughout the development cycle.
• Execute automated tests across multiple platforms and browsers.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous delivery.
• Document processes and test results, providing detailed bug reports and failure analysis.
• Monitor quality metrics and continuously improve test automation scripts and processes.
Qualifications
• Proven experience with JavaScript-based test automation tools, such as Cypress, Jest, Mocha, Chai, or Puppeteer.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
• Understand Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Ability to create and maintain automated test suites for APIs, UI, and integration tests.
• Experience with version control tools (Git).
• Basic knowledge of performance and load testing is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to work within cross-functional teams.
