We are looking for a Business Affairs Manager to join our agency client here in Toronto! This person will be responsible all aspects of business management within the content production department. We would like to see 7-10 years of experience in an agency setting.Responsibilities:Manage business affairs needs for assigned accounts for integrated commercial, promotional, experiential, and ongoing social projects across multiple offices
Maintain a deep understanding of business and legal guidelines for production
Serve as an advisor on all talent contracts, rules, regulations and best practices for SAG/Union and nonunion productions
Provide guidance on negotiations and management of union, nonunion, content creator, influencer, and celebrity talent
Ensure production compliance with MSAs and SOWsReview creative materials for viability of concepts, budget implications, and potential legal issues
Research and clear third-party property rights, including UGCIssue or obtain appropriate documents for productions, including production contracts, production insurance declarations, purchase orders, talent, location, prop, and wardrobe releases
Negotiate, draft, and review various agreements with talent vendors, licensors, and other production partners
Help educate coordinators and producers on production and business affairs procedures
Work within NetSuite and Extreme ReachQualifications:8+ years of agency experience
Strong organizational, verbal and written skills
Knowledge of performance union regulations
Collaborative and creative problem solver
