Key Areas Of Accountability
- Provides support in planning and scheduling service for clients
- Receives inquiries for services and conducts intake assessment
- Supports service development and marketing
- Provides support for administrative activities
As this role is being funded by the Canada Summer Jobs program, the following are eligibility requirements:
- You are between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.
- You are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (foreign students are not eligible).
- You are legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.
- You have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
Key Skills, Experience And Behaviors Required For This Position
- Knowledge of Community Social Services and Community Health Care (a diploma or degree)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and psychosocial assessment tools
- Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Mental Health and Addictions
- Good problem solving skills, solution-focus approach and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to handle a high volume of telephone intake calls and inquiries.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the use of scheduling programs.
- Good keyboarding skills and accurate data entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of the GTA and TTC routes.
- Demonstrate efforts to continuously develop and upgrade skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to client and family centered care.
