Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Specialist for one of our clients. The incumbent will join a team tasked with helping to modernize systems related to personal finance. This team is implementing the new (SaaS) credit granting platform for the various personal finance products and is working on its integration into the company's ecosystem.
The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for application quality assurance. Their main role is to design, write, implement, and execute the various tests (unit, functional, automated) that will validate the quality and proper functioning of an application.
The consultant actively participates in establishing and facilitating the implementation of the quality strategy for business solutions. Their scope of intervention is medium to large. At the center of the project, they are responsible for the activities that lead to the implementation and compliance with the components of an integrated software quality approach. They leverage their skills to ensure that anomalies and their resolution at all levels of testing throughout development are properly addressed by the implementation teams in which they work.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify, capture, analyze, and interpret the information and data needed to support the testing phases, implementation strategies, various quality assurance tests, the decision-making process, and processes for monitoring the application of current management policies and practices.
- Review and approve detailed quality and testing strategies for the targeted application teams.
- Develop or perform technical review of case studies and test scripts. Participate in quality review meetings.
- Prepare the system testing schedule with application teams, business teams, and suppliers.
- Rigorously execute the tests (manual and automated) for which you have been assigned responsibility.
- Coordinate the preparation of the test execution context (environments, data), in collaboration with the various teams involved.
- Track test results with the application teams involved.
- Support other specialists in defining the various scopes (stories, release, sprint, project, tests).
- Analyze risks. Write various reports, propose solutions, make recommendations, and provide advisory support in implementing these recommendations.
- Prepare and recommend action plans likely to help correct situations encountered, in accordance with generally accepted guidelines and rules.
- Coordinate testing activities.
- Support members of the quality and development team. Implementation and coordination of a testing strategy.
Required Qualifications and Requirements
- A minimum of four yearsof relevant experience in IT quality assurance
- Experience in developing test scenarios
- Experience with tools - X-Ray, JIRA
- Expertise in quality assurance processes and the implementation of quality assurance tools
- Writing and executing test strategies and scenarios
- Be curious, know how to question oneself, and make an effort to learn new things
- Ability to identify problems and blockers and suggest ways to overcome them
- Be organized, rigorous, and know how to manage priorities
- A unifying force, they will be able to convince team members and comply when required
- Possess excellent communication and explanatory skills
