Duties \& Responsibilities
- Carry out avionics repairs, and/or modifications on customer aircraft as assigned to them under supervision by a technician or crew chief.
- Review and be fully familiarized with all aspects of Avmax's Policy Manual and General Procedures Manual. Compliance with both manual's policy and procedure are mandatory.
- Complete required regulatory and company paperwork and ensure that paperwork is up to date and accurate and maintain the integrity of all issued documents.
- Provide regular job status updates and report all defects and work stoppages to the Crew Chief and/or delegate.
- Report unserviceable equipment to the assigned Crew Chief and/or delegate.
- Notify Crew Chief of all defects discovered during repairs.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Ensure that all maintenance and safety precautions are observed when carrying out assigned activities.
- Promote company values, vision, and mission.
- Attend training courses as directed by company management.
- Continuous improvement recommendations.
Qualifications
- Possess strong fundamental aircraft knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Attending or completed a Transport Canada approved AME approved course.
Experience

Dash 8 experience is considered an asset.
