In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Handling employee queries related to HR services and policies. Administering associate transactions through the associate life cycle including all onboarding and offboarding requirements.
- Working with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for newly offered associates through the pre-hire process. This would include processing all government or company related paperwork or processing any obligations through the offer process.
- Collaborating with HR business partners to address complex HR issues.
- Processing and maintaining all workers' compensation claims, unemployment requests, FMLA and leaves of absences.
- Reviewing and redesigning transactional HR processes.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, Accounting, or related field required.
- Three to five years of professional human resources experience with a HR Shared Service team preferred.
- Experience with Canadian Labor Rules.
- Recent experience with Workday, or similar HRIS program.
