Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Java Developer to join our development team at Aadhya Technologies in Toronto, ON. In this role, you'll play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java applications used across various industries. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean code, collaborative problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product) to define and deliver solutions.
- Write well-designed, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Integrate data storage solutions (SQL/NoSQL databases).
- Participate in design and code reviews, and help maintain code quality standards.
- Debug and resolve technical issues reported in production and QA environments.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and apply best practices in Java development.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of OOP principles and design patterns.
- Proficient in Spring Boot , Hibernate , and REST APIs.
- Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of agile software development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
