What You'll Be Doing
- Receive drug orders from pharmaceutical companies and re-stock dispensary supplies (bottles, capsule vials, etc), ensuring appropriate storage of products
- Check and restock shelves with medications
- Recycle serviceable medication into active stock
- Perform audits of unit dose prepacked medications and multidose packaged medications, rotating stock to ensure best dating
- Help pharmacy technicians with performing audits in pharmacy and on patient care units
- Help pharmacy porter and pharmacy technicians with medication deliveries
- Support department administration with filing, scanning, shredding, etc.
- Sanitize dispensary counter tops and trays
What We're Looking For
- Actively enrolled in Bachelor of Science program
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated problem solving, attention to detail and conflict management skills
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proven ability to work effectively independently and with a team
- Previous experience in a mental health facility is an asset but not required
