At Korechi , we design cutting-edge robotic solutions for golf and farm automation. We're looking for a passionate Robotics Software Developer to join our team and help drive innovation in autonomous systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug robotics software using Python/C in ROS and ROS2.
- Implement and refine Machine Learning models for our autonomous systems.
- Conduct field testing on farms and golf courses, troubleshooting and debugging on-site.
- Develop communication protocols between our robots and app platforms.
- Collaborate with team members, peer-review code, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Must-Have Qualifications
✔ Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Software, Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
✔ 1 years of professional experience programming robots.
✔ Strong coding skills in Python and C.
✔ Solid understanding of Linux operating systems.
✔ Valid Canadian driver's license \& authorization to work in Canada.
Preferred Skills \& Experience
➤ Robot Operating System (ROS 1 \& 2) in Ubuntu.
➤ Expertise in autonomous navigation, planning, control, and state estimation.
➤ Experience with computer vision (traditional \& deep learning).
➤ Knowledge of bash scripting \& command line tools in Ubuntu 20.04 .
➤ Ability to develop protocols for software communication across different platforms.
➤ Strong attention to detail, ensuring edge-case QA for own code.
➤ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
➤ Comfortable in fast-paced environments and switching between tasks.
➤ Understanding of electronic systems (motors, cameras, LiDAR, GNSS, IMU, etc.).
➤ Experience with Arduino/microcontroller programming.
➤ Familiarity with APIs like Google Drive \& Google Cloud.
