Senior Project Architect, Toronto, ON
- Supervises the preparation of project documents for assigned projects.
- Responsible for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments.
- Assists Principal Architect in planning and developing architectural projects
- Involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope, selection of items for investigation, and development of novel concepts and methods.
- Ultimately responsible for the execution of designs with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary coordination.
- Capable of interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments, staff, and scope of work based on the client's requirements.
- Utilizes knowledge of computer software to convey the project intent
Minimum Qualifications
- Licensed Architect with major transit project responsibility Preferred.
- (15) or more years of experience as a Licensed Architect who plans, develops, executes, and coordinates medium to large scope projects with many complexities
- Experience overseeing team of architects, engineers, and technical personnel with minimal supervision.
- Must be familiar with budgeting procedures and practices.
- (15) or more years of experience in a Canadian Architectural Office.
- Advanced skills with Revit, Building Information Modeling (BIM), AutoCAD, MicroStation, knowledgeable in the use of Sketch-up, 3D software, Rendering software, Photoshop.
- Advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Must be capable of communicating / presenting concepts through verbal, written, or drawing medium.
- Must have strong graphic presentation skills and abilities to present to clients and project teams.

Education Required
- Bachelors of Architecture Degree and or a Master of Architecture
- Membership in good standing with the Ontario Association of Architects (with a professional seal as required) is mandatory
