The long-term care sector in Ontario has been rattled by long waiting periods before the pandemic and devastating situations during it. Recently the Health Standards Organization (HSO) and CSA Group released complementary and independent LTC standards. These call for a greater emphasis on resident comfort, privacy, and well being than are currently prescribed by the Ontario Ministry of
Long-Term Care. LTC architects live in interesting times. This opportunity is an exceptional career fit for a candidate's ambitions to contribute to the evolving seniors housing sector.
