Job Title: General Manager Location: Toronto OntarioOffer: Competitive Compensation: They offer a competitive salary package, ensuring your skills and contributions are duly recognized. Ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 as a base salary package. Total Compensation in the $120,000 to $140,000 range.
Key Responsibilities:Champion brand vision and values, fostering a culture of positivity and high standards. Create a welcoming environment for guests and employees, upholding courtesy and respect standards. Manage staff performance, ensuring adherence to established service standards.
Monitor compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, including security procedures and alcohol regulations. Maintain restaurant cleanliness and uphold aesthetic standards. Oversee staff schedules to meet budgeted labor costs.
Manage internal controls related to invoices, cash handling, and procedures. Handle guest interactions, addressing inquiries, recovery, and complaints promptly. Review financial documents, monitor restaurant sales and revenue.
Implement and execute marketing and promotional activities. Adapt to seasonal changes and create relevant initiatives. Coordinate maintenance and repairs, following Purchasing Manager's directives.
Lead recruitment, interviews, hiring, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, motivation, and training of team members. Regularly assess staffing requirements and oversee daily trackers. Complete weekly payroll reports and review reservations and events.
Host and lead weekly manager meetings. Qualifications:2+ years of management in elevated dining. Certified Sommelier Embraces a can-do attitude, showcasing passion and dedication with a willingness to tackle any task.
