Job Summary
The Facilities Clerk is responsible for assisting the Office Experience Manager in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-maintained facility for all employees, visitors, and customers of Labatt in Ontario. This position supports the maintenance of facilities and equipment, ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with applicable codes and regulations. The Facilities Clerk is also responsible for ensuring the shipment and receipt of packages in and out of Canada.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination of repairs and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and systems.
- Conduct regular facility and equipment inspections, documenting and communicating any issues to the Office Experience Manager.
- Assist in the procurement of supplies, equipment, and services necessary for facility maintenance.
- Receive, sort, organize and store all HQ office mail.
- Package items for national and international shipment.
- Ship materials to new employees and correspondence related to their benefits.
- Manage all HQ office kitchen supplies, ensuring that coffee machines are serviced and stocked as well as ensuring items such as milk, tea, etc. are available.
- Stock all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage refrigerators in the office/pub.
- Prepare the set-up for pub events according to employees' requests.
- Reception coverage as needed.
- Assist in identifying and ordering office supplies.
- Support tasks carried out by the HQ office Engagement Committee.
Job Qualifications
- Level of Education: High School Diploma
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, knowledge of facilities and equipment maintenance, familiarity with project management software.
- Soft Skills: Communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment, problem-solving skills, adaptable to changing working conditions
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related field
- Additional Knowledge: Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines related to facilities and equipment maintenance.
