LOCATION
Business/ Department Overview
Intern Resposibilities Projects/ Initiatives (Indicate the percentage of time dedicated for this -- e.g., 80% AND the frequency i.e. monthly)
- Work on automation tools to enhance current Expense reporting 10%. Work on updating excel templates and using Tableau to create improved Front Office and Support Cost Dashboards
Processes/BAU (Indicate the percentage of time dedicated for this -- e.g., 20% AND the frequency i.e. monthly)
- Preparation of monthly management reports, variance analysis 30%
- Participate in the preparation of forecast and annual plan for TDS expenses and FTE in collaboration with business partners 50%
- Work closely with internal business partners in Front office, Infrastructure and TD Cowen Finance to provide insights on expenses 10%
Program Requirements
- No specific school
- Business/Finance/Accounting/Math program
- Preferably last year of program
Technical / Soft Skills Requirements
- Position requires strong analytical, financial modelling skills to provide high level financial analysis and value-added insight to business partners
- Develop and maintain deep relationships with key business, finance and other stakeholders and effectively communicate/storytell relevant, meaningful recommendations to senior management
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced and demanding environment that requires meticulous attention to detail
- Experience with Tableau and Alteryx is an asset
