JOB DESCRIPTION
- Leadership talks with key Leaders from across the organization
- Lunch \& Learns on topics such as Innovation, Diversity \& Inclusion, Personal Branding and so much more
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Exploring user \& business needs through design, prototyping, and testing ideas with customers
- Answering critical user and business questions using TD's Innovation Framework, which incorporates Business Design/Design Thinking and Agile methodologies
- Conducting user research and interviews to help understand customer problems
- Developing storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas
- Executing UX and visual design requirements as part of a team
- Working closely with product owners and pod members to bring a solution to life
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a visually clear resume with a clear link to your portfolio. Your resume should be easy to read \& clearly explain your past roles and experience.
- Must have a portfolio, with at least 2 UX case studies (more details below).
- Knowledge of design tools, specifically Figma and Figjam.
- The extras (nice to haves):
- Demonstrable passion and curiosity for design \& learning more about UX
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, \& takes initiative in their work, as demonstrated by extracurriculars, class projects, etc.
HOW WE EVALUATE CANDIDATES Your resume and portfolio should work together to showcase why you are the right person for this role. What Makes a Strong UX Resume:
- Highlight relevant work or classroom experience
- Tell us about the impact you've had in past roles
- Identify the tools and practices you've had exposure to
- Be visually appealing (consider things like alignment, spelling, etc.)
- Provide a link to your portfolio (don't rely on embedded links!)
- Be 1-2 pages, maximum
What Makes a Strong UX Portfolio:

Be easy to access and read - treat your portfolio like a UX Design project and try to consider accessibility, consistency, usability, etc.

Contain at least 2 UX case studies so we can better evaluate your experience \& design process

Project context / background and timelines

Your role and responsibilities \& project timeline

The core problem you're solving, from a user's perspective

The methods used for primary and/or secondary research -- and the key findings from your research

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This position is a 4-month work term and will commence May 2025. Please indicate if your academic program does not align to this timeframe in your resume or cover letter. Flexibility in the length of term can be discussed with top candidates.
- Must be enrolled at a post-secondary institution as of the start of and during the work term.
