475 is a rapidly growing North American company which distributes and consults on high performance building components. 475 is focused on transforming the North American construction market toward low-energy, high-performance building design. We are hiring an entry position for sales/customer service. Successful candidates should be motivated, ambitious, and confident about the opportunity to grow the use of high-performance building practices in their region, while enthusiastic about helping 475 grow our company, brand, and influence.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to client inquiries via email, phone, and live chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Triage incoming calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate team member as needed.
- Process customer orders, create quotations and estimates, and follow through on order logistics.
- Provide basic technical support and product guidance to customers.
- Collaborate closely with sales reps and technical team members to ensure smooth project handoffs and high-quality customer experience.
- Assist with administrative tasks for internal teams, including organizing shipments of samples, catalogs, and data sheets.
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM and support reporting needs.
- As experience grows, attend job site visits, customer meetings, and architect presentations.
- Support the sales team by providing coverage when reps are out of office or in meetings.
Required Skills \& Qualifications
- Proficiency in French considered an asset
- A degree in one of the following disciplines: architecture, construction, engineering, business development, sales or logistics.
- Strong interest in sustainable construction and high-performance, low-energy building practices, especially Passive House design and construction.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Gmail, Dropbox, and Salesforce preferred.
- Proactive with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work well both independently and as a member of a team.
Compensation \& Benefits
- Annual salary: $60,000 CAD - $80,000 CAD (based on experience).
- Location: Greater Toronto Area, ON.
