About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Marketing Manager with deep expertise in CRM and a passion for driving customer engagement and retention. You'll lead CRM strategy and campaigns while also overseeing our events program and a small marketing team. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with high visibility across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

· Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and IT to develop and optimize lifecycle marketing programs, triggered campaigns, and dynamic content.
· Champion a test-and-learn approach through A/B testing and campaign optimization.
· Analyze and report on performance metrics---open rates, CTR, conversions---to refine messaging and customer segmentation strategies.
· Act as a subject matter expert for CRM best practices, email marketing, and customer retention initiatives.
· Develop campaign briefs, timelines, and documentation to ensure alignment across teams.
· Support management in developing customer growth and retention models (i.e., acquire, retain, grow, win-back strategies).
· Lead planning and execution of trade shows, educational seminars, and customer-facing events---primarily in Ontario.
· Develop integrated marketing plans to promote events, capture leads, and support the Sales team with compelling pre-, during-, and post-event content.
· Manage vendor relationships, coordinate logistics, and oversee event marketing materials.
· Track and optimize event ROI to ensure alignment with business goals.
· Occasionally attend events in-person to support execution and post-event debriefs.
· Manage and mentor a growing team of 1--2 Marketing Specialists responsible for content, social media, and event coordination.
· Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented culture where creativity and performance thrive.
What You Bring
· 5 years of marketing experience, with 3 years in CRM, preferably in a B2B or healthcare setting.
· Proven success in designing and executing customer retention programs.
· Deep understanding of email marketing KPIs and strategies, including segmentation, personalization, and automation.
· Hands-on experience with HubSpot (strong asset), Salesforce, Marketo, or similar CRM platforms.
· Experience with data visualization or analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Domo, Tableau).
· Strong project management skills with the ability to drive alignment across departments.
· 2 years of people management experience, with a passion for team mentorship and development.
Nice-to-Haves
· Experience creating digital and social content for B2B audiences.
· Knowledge of email coding (HTML, CSS) and testing tools.
· Familiarity with WordPress and web optimization.
· Understanding of compliance requirements (e.g., CASL, GDPR).
Who You Are
· Strategic and execution-focused---you can see the big picture and sweat the details.
· Comfortable working independently and in cross-functional teams.
· Highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects at once.
· Energetic, curious, and driven by results.
· Passionate about improving customer experiences and driving growth.
