About The Role
- This role is from Tuesday to Friday (about 32 hours/week)
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling incoming calls, emails, mail, and general correspondence.
- Carrying out general administrative tasks, maintaining filing systems and organizing confidential documentation.
- Preparing and processing resident admission, rate changes, suite vacancies and discharge paperwork.
- Liaise with external agencies to ensure correct financial rates are applied and processed correctly.
- Coordinating inventory management and ordering supplies.
- Organizing meeting logistics and supporting event coordination.
- Assisting with financial processing, month-end and administrative reporting.
- Process guest suite booking/payments and coordinate calendars
- Providing basic IT support and troubleshooting assistance.
- Supporting team communications, scheduling, and project tracking, maintenance care requests.
- Ensuring adherence to privacy, confidentiality, and safety protocols.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- Graduate of a recognized post-secondary Business Administration program or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an administrative assistant role, preferably in a long-term care or health care environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher) and strong general computer skills
- Ability to type a minimum of 60 words per minute accurately
- Bondable and able to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal abilities
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Familiarity with PointClickCare, Canva, and office equipment is an asset
- Physically and mentally able to carry out assigned duties in the working environment
About You
Compensation \& Benefits
- We offer an hourly salary of $25.15
