Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated sales representative. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with veterinary clinics, hospitals, and other animal health professionals within an assigned territory. You will promote and sell a diverse range of products while providing expert guidance and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with a strong understanding of the veterinary industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving sales growth. This role requires travel within the designated territory and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve sales growth and objectives within assigned territory
Develop and maintain a high technical competency for CSL product range
Develop and understand customer needs to increase clinic penetration and growth of CSL product range
Conduct a high level of customer service within assigned territory by responding to customer inquiries
Identify opportunities and strategies to develop new business within assigned territory
Build and maintain relationships with veterinary professionals and industry stakeholders
Collaborate with your internal team and other company associates to provide valuable contributions
Complete weekly call sheets, monthly expense reports, and any other requested information as required
Attend industry events, trade shows, and company meetings/conference calls/product training as required
Qualifications \& Requirements:
Educational background in veterinary field e.g. RVT, DVM, Veterinary Sales etc
Bachelor's degree Animal Science, or a related field (preferred)
Minimum of 2 years veterinary industry experience e.g. veterinary clinic, sales, animal health, distribution
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to travel within assigned territory
