Looking for a Licensed Paralegal to join our Toronto Office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, with a high level of interpersonal skills dealing with clients.

We area personal Injury law firm that is known to get results. We provide a friendly and energetic work environment where you will sharpen your legal skills and rise to the top, learning from a legal team with a solid 20-year experience.

Candidate Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of accident benefits experience, including working knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) and LAT Process.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume practice.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Exceptional critical thinking and writing skills.
Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Keen attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily communication with clients and counsels.
Perform detailed review of clients medical documentation and other files.
Create and maintain good relationships with clients, insurance adjusters, healthcare providers and their staff.
Handle OCF forms according to the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) requirements.
Drafting letters to insurance companies, doctors, OHIP, police ,clinics ,defense counsel and clients
Make sure clients receive the right amount of benefits under SABS when dealing with insurance companies.
Drafting LAT applications.
General office file maintenance.
