Role: HR Reporting Analyst
Length: 3-6 month contract
Type: Hybrid 3x a week in Toronto, ON
Rate: $25-$28
JOB DESCRIPTION
We're looking for a Reporting Analyst to temporarily backfill a technical resource on leave in HR for anywhere up to 6 months. This role will focus on data reporting and stakeholder support, ensuring continuity in reporting requests and analytics functions. Proficiency in Workday Report Writer is required, and familiarity with Python is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage Workday for payroll, compensation, and other core HR functions.
- Manage and respond to ad-hoc Workday reporting inquiries via the People Analytics inbox across all four brands.
- Meet with hiring managers to gather details on day-to-day responsibilities.
- Validate core SOX controls and generate government-required reports as needed.
- Ensure meticulous communication and guest service. Meet SLA (Service Level Agreements) and prioritize requests.
- Responsible for putting together monthly decks, most of which are automated.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, data structures, and system limitations.
- Prepare standard and routine reports to support business needs.
- Assist in the development, testing, and validation of new reporting functionality.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proficiency in Workday Report Writer required; familiarity with Python is a plus but not required.
- Experience with reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple requests.
- Less than a year of experience; junior candidate preferred.
