We're looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations within a specific area. In this role, you'll lead a team, manage resources, and drive improvements in processes, quality, and safety while meeting production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production activities to ensure targets are met for safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
- Manage day-to-day performance of production staff, including scheduling, monitoring attendance, and handling performance feedback.
- Identify and resolve issues related to inventory, production delays, scrap, or rework by investigating root causes and implementing solutions.
- Promote a safe and clean working environment through training, safety audits, and compliance with EH\&S standards.
- Support employee development through regular coaching, performance reviews, and training coordination.
- Collaborate with other departments like Supply Chain and Engineering to support smooth operations and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and business/inventory systems.
- Organized, adaptable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
