Job Summary
The Business and Client Services (BCS) group is central to RBC Capital Markets' trading and lending activities, providing efficiency, scalability, and control to support growth and success. The Digital Transformation and Business Architecture teams shape and advance the BCS transformation roadmap through a holistic approach covering people, processes, data, and technologies. Our team articulates a vision for the future of our business and collaborates with business and IT partners to realize it.
As an Associate Director of Digital Transformation, your typical day might include:
- Acting as a business analyst and learning functional processes
- Developing strategic visions with practitioners, partners, and senior leaders
- Creating program, project, and initiative roadmaps with planning and execution guidance
- Modeling functional capabilities and understanding service delivery
- Presenting ideas across organizational levels to build value propositions and stakeholder ownership
- Testing ideas to ensure evidence-based conviction
- Managing cross-functional teams to architect, implement, test, and deliver solutions
- Communicating strategies to gain buy-in from senior management and stakeholders
- Providing thought leadership on emerging technologies, market landscape, and transformation
- Business case development, forecasting, opportunity analysis, and preparing pitch materials
- Enhancing the client journey and experience ownership
- Identifying improvement opportunities in BCS through rapid experimentation and research
- Reporting project progress, milestones, and achievements
- Mapping and redesigning business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend technology and automation solutions
- Managing relationships with vendors and service providers for new technologies and trends
Who we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree and minimum 4 years of experience in financial services, strategy consulting, or engineering
- Broad understanding of enterprise strategy, processes, capabilities, and governance
- Experience in business process analysis, redesign, and automation
- Entrepreneurial spirit, eagerness to learn, and diplomatic self-control
- Client-first strategic thinker with enterprise vision
- Results-oriented with focus on outcomes for clients, users, and business
- Structured approach using frameworks and toolkits

Nice to have:
- Over 1 year experience in commercial/corporate credit or banking
- Business plan review/creation experience
- Experience in education, team success, and industry trends in digitization and automation
- Knowledge of business architecture principles and product leadership
- Experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA, Confluence
- Consulting or transformation industry experience
- Portfolio-based relationship management experience
