Role Overview:
We are seeking vigilant and dependable Security Guards to join our team on a part-time/on-call basis. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment during various events, ensuring the safety of attendees, staff, and property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor event premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Patrol assigned areas to maintain order and establish presence.
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Provide assistance to event staff and attendees as needed.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily activities and irregularities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in event security is an asset but not mandatory.
