Site Description
Shops at Don Mills, located at Don Mills and Lawrence Avenue East in Toronto, Ontario, features 72 stores and offers a lifestyle shopping experience centered around fashion, dining, and entertainment.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by actively assisting and supporting clients
- Act as a deterrent to crime and maintain a safe, welcoming environment
- Write reports and investigate incidents; respond promptly to emergencies
- Enforce property standards, rules, and regulations tactfully
- Respond to medical emergencies with First Aid, CPR, or AED support
- Maintain and enforce access control procedures
- Understand emergency and standard operating procedures
- Handle trespassers and unauthorized persons lawfully and safely
- Assist with Fire \& Life Safety inspections
- Maintain detailed incident reports using CF's reporting system
Prerequisites for Interview
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Standard First Aid and CPR certification (WSIB-approved)
- Proof of 2 COVID-19 vaccinations
- Proficiency in English (oral and written)
Additional Requirements
- Ability to commute to Toronto for pre-deployment training (4 days, M-F)
- Certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) from ASP provider; other providers require prior enrollment in Paladin's training
- Note: UoF/MOAB training is unpaid but covered by Paladin, with a 6-month commitment
