About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead the field execution of ICI construction projects , with a strong emphasis on concrete work. This role is ideal for a hands-on, proactive leader who thrives in dynamic environments and has a proven track record of managing complex site operations. You'll be the key on-site representative, driving schedule, quality, safety, and collaboration with trades and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities from mobilization to completion.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades, and labor teams, ensuring alignment with project timelines and scopes.
- Oversee and ensure the quality of all concrete-related work, including formwork, rebar, pours, and finishing.
- Monitor progress, maintain daily site reports, and communicate with the Project Manager on schedule, logistics, and issues.
- Conduct daily site meetings and ensure adherence to health and safety standards and OHS compliance.
- Manage site logistics, deliveries, and sequencing to optimize productivity and minimize delays.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules, ensuring construction adheres to design and code requirements.
- Resolve on-site issues in real-time and maintain momentum through effective decision-making.
- Uphold the highest standards of quality control through inspections and detailed oversight.
Qualifications \& Experience
- 10 years of experience as a superintendent or site supervisor in ICI construction.
- Demonstrated expertise in concrete construction, including structural and flatwork.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and site coordination.
- Proficiency in reading construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with construction management software (Procore, MS Project, or equivalent) is a strong asset.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
