We are seeking a General Counsel to oversee all legal matters for the firm, particularly to handle complex, large scale acquisitions and to oversee litigation worldwide.
Responsibilities :
- Lead all legal aspects of acquisitions, including drafting and negotiating asset and share purchase agreements, and all aspects of due diligence
- Manage disputes and litigation, working closely with external counsel when necessary
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including asset and share purchase agreements and software licensing agreements
- Represent the company in negotiations and discussions
Requirements :
- 15 years of legal experience in M\&A and litigation
- Proven track record of handling complex acquisitions and litigation
- Strong understanding of intellectual property law, especially in the software sector
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing and mentoring legal teams is a plus
