TheCanadian Ski Council (CSC) is looking for an experienced and dynamicOperations Director to lead the execution and continuous improvement of our skier development programs and revenue-generating operations. This is a strategic leadership role, reporting directly to the President \& CEO, with high impact across national initiatives likeGo Skiing Go Snowboarding ,Never Ever Days , and theCanadian Lift Pass.
What You'll Do:
Oversee all CSC programs and customer service operations
Manage and mentor operational staff (Contact Centre, Systems Analyst, seasonal teams)
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and post-season analysis
Drive engagement and program growth through strategic marketing
Collaborate with ski areas and represent CSC at industry events
Leverage platforms like Zendesk, Salesforce, and custom program tools
What We're Looking For:
️10 years in operations, program management, or sports marketing
️Strong background in skiing/snowboarding industry
️Proven leadership in remote and in-person team settings
️Skilled in budgeting, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration
️Experience with customer service platforms (Zendesk, Salesforce)
️Bonus: French bilingualism and contact centre experience
Perks \& Conditions:
️Work remotely from anywhere in Canada, a location near Collingwood Ontario is preffered
Occasional travel for events, trade shows, or site visits
️Light outdoor work (with proper seasonal gear)
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. for program materials
