Your role
Join our team as a Senior Project Manager with the Saskatchewan Team.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who can act as a trusted advisor to our clients and have built strong, lasting relationships with senior leaders. You bring in-depth construction knowledge and have led and managed complex project teams within different construction delivery methodologies. Experience leading Healthcare and/or Education projects with significant complexity is essential. Your expertise will help position our team for upcoming capital healthcare and education projects throughout the Saskatchewan Business Unit.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate company values and cultural behaviors
- Consult directly with clients and stakeholders to successfully complete long-term care and/or healthcare projects, varying in size, scope, and complexity
- Understand and represent your clients' best interests regarding project outcomes
- Manage client relationships and be attentive to new or changing requirements
- Lead the development of project plans including defining objectives, success criteria, schedules, budgets, procurement, risk management, and stakeholder communication
- Lead procurement efforts and contract negotiations with architects, contractors, and third-party consultants
- Manage and mentor multiple project delivery teams through various project management activities
- Oversee team performance and escalate issues as needed
- Provide financial oversight including forecasts, cost tracking, and regular reporting
- Build business and secure additional healthcare and education sector projects in Saskatchewan
- Ensure quality deliverables and client satisfaction
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years' capital project management experience, with at least 5 years leading large-scale projects
- Experience in healthcare and/or education projects; municipal and other building construction experience is relevant
- University degree or college diploma in engineering, architecture, construction management, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management models, financial management, building codes, contract types, and legislation
- Professional credentials such as PMP, P.Eng., CET, Registered Architect, or similar are assets
- Leadership and organizational skills with the ability to influence and resolve issues effectively
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
