Veterinary Reception, Animal Care Attendant

Blair Animal Hospital is currently welcoming a dependable and outgoing Veterinary Reception, Animal Care Attendant to join our team! This full-time opportunity includes a range of responsibilities that directly contribute to the efficient and effective daily operation of the hospital. Key attributes and qualifications include:
- Take initiative and work independently
- Excellent customer service skills; a genuine ability to put pets and pet parents at ease and create a welcoming environment
- Comfortable with animal handling and husbandry
- Ability to answer a multiline phone system and effectively track and book appointments
- Placing outbound calls to pet parents for follow-up and future appointment bookings
- Scheduling appointments; admitting and discharging pet patients
- Invoicing/billing; creating estimates, obtaining pet owner confirmation, and processing payments
- Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Office Administration (VOA) program certificate is an asset
- A love for all companion animals!
