We currently have a vacancy for a Pharmacy Technician within Pharmacy Stores. The primary duties include drug distribution, inventory management, and purchasing. Responsibilities encompass assessing needs and supplying drugs to various hospital areas, maintaining inventory in AcuDose, Pyxis, and C2 Safe systems, managing narcotics, placing purchase orders, handling drug recalls and expiry dates, and maintaining documentation.
Shift times vary, with multiple weekday shifts starting between 0630 and 0800 hours, including weekend and holiday rotations.
Qualifications/Skills
- Experience in a pharmacy setting preferred, especially within Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
- Familiarity with AcuDose, Pyxis, and C2 Safe preferred.
- Current licensure or in progress with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and empathetic with strong customer service skills.
