Job Description:
This role requires a strategic leader passionate about academic excellence and international collaboration. The successful candidate will oversee the growth of the Spirit of Math Contest (SoMC), leading high-performing teams, fostering global partnerships, and ensuring an exceptional participant experience worldwide.

Skills \& Experience:
Work Experience: 3-5 years in related roles.
Operational Leadership: Proven ability to oversee daily operations, optimize resources, and ensure compliance.
Project Management: Experience managing complex academic projects and leading cross-functional teams.
Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and execute plans aligned with organizational goals, engaging stakeholders effectively.
Mathematical Expertise: Advanced math skills, curriculum development experience, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
Data Analysis: Proficiency in working with quantitative data and applying mathematical reasoning.
Process Development: Experience creating systems and policies to improve operational effectiveness and ensure regulatory compliance.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education with specialization in Mathematics or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
- Additional certifications in Project Management or Educational Leadership are assets.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, mentor, and lead the Content Writers for SoMC, fostering innovation.
- Oversee the Global Round event, managing logistics to ensure a world-class experience.
- Guide the Content Writing team to produce high-quality contest materials.
- Review and ensure the quality of contest papers and solutions.
- Update and improve the Practice Center for student preparation.
- Manage contest result analysis and reporting.
- Serve as the academic liaison for Canadian and international partners.
- Develop policies supporting operational and academic integrity.
- Manage budgets related to contracts, equipment, and supplies.
- Oversee the Competitive Contest Coaching Club.
- Coordinate with other departments to align initiatives.
- Lead various academic and operational projects, including the deployment of the Drills App.
Working Conditions:
- Office-based with options for remote work.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
