Marketing Coordinator - Connected Vehicles
Location: Guelph, ON (405 Laird Road)
Status: Full-Time, In-Person
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
About the Role:
Connected Vehicles is seeking a strategic and results-driven Marketing Coordinator to join our Guelph team. This is a key marketing role where you'll take ownership of executing marketing campaigns that drive measurable results. If you are an experienced marketer with a strong background in lead generation, vertical targeting, and email campaign management, we want to hear from you!
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing digital marketing strategies, developing and executing targeted email campaigns, and driving lead generation through multiple marketing channels. This role will require you to track and optimize the lead conversion cycle while managing budgets and ensuring a positive return on investment.
Key Responsibilities:
Email Marketing Strategy Execution
- Design, develop, and execute highly targeted email marketing campaigns aimed at driving qualified leads and nurturing them through the sales funnel.
- Manage segmentation, personalization, A/B testing, and automated workflows using platforms like Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar tools.
- Monitor and analyze email performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) to continually refine campaign effectiveness.
Data-Driven Lead Generation Optimization
- Leverage analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM systems like Salesforce) to assess campaign performance, identify trends, and make data-backed decisions to improve conversion rates.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify high-value segments and design tailored email strategies to reach them.
- Track and optimize the full lead conversion cycle, ensuring marketing efforts contribute to qualified pipeline growth.
Campaign Strategy Vertical Targeting
- Develop and execute segmented campaign strategies based on industry verticals, buyer personas ,and customer lifecycle stages.
- Align email messaging and offers with the specific needs of each audience segment to drive long-term engagement and ROI.
Digital Marketing Support
- Support broader digital marketing efforts including website management, SEO initiatives, and landing page optimization to enhance email campaign success.
- Ensure all digital touchpoints are optimized for lead capture and aligned with email campaign goals.
Social Media s Content Coordination
- Coordinate with content creators to support email and social campaigns, ensuring a consistent brand voice across all platforms.
- Repurpose high-performing email content for use in other marketing channels to maximize reach and engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with sales, leadership, and product teams to align marketing messages with business goals and market opportunities.
- Regularly report on key metrics, insights, and campaign performance to internal stakeholders, suggesting data-informed next steps.
What You Bring:
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in marketing, with a proven track record of successful lead generation, email campaigns, and vertical targeting strategies.
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing, lead generation, and sales cycles, with a demonstrated ability to optimize and manage campaigns through multiple verticals.
- Proficiency in email marketing tools (Mailchimp or similar), Google Analytics, CRM systems (Salesforce), and strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimize marketing performance.
- Knowledge of SEO, digital advertising, and paid/organic campaigns.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Microsoft Office, and other digital marketing tools.
- A deep understanding of the lead conversion process, including managing budgets, maximizing ROI, and reporting on campaign success.
- Experience in telematics or related industries is an asset.
- A valid G-class driver's license.
