LeverageTek is actively seeking an SAP Business System Analyst for an upcoming 9-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders to document current processes in ECC 6.0 and identify gaps for S/4HANA
- Define functional and technical requirements for the migration
- Assist in designing S/4HANA solutions aligned with business needs
- Configure SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM) in the new environment
- Lead data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from ECC to S/4HANA
- Ensure data integrity through validation and reconciliation
- Develop and execute test scripts (unit, integration, UAT)
- Support cutover activities and post-go-live stabilization
- Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and consultants
- Provide training and change management support
- Identify optimization opportunities in S/4HANA (e.g., Fiori apps, embedded analytics)
- Troubleshoot and resolve post-migration issues
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of SAP functional/technical experience, with at least 1 full-cycle ECC 6.0 to S/4HANA migration
- Strong expertise in SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, WM)
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA migration tools
Required Qualifications
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of SAP HANA database and SQL
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Deep functional and technical expertise in SAP modules, data migration, and business process optimization
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption
Assets
- Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
- Agile/Scrum project experience
- SAP S/4HANA certification
