The Trottier Institute for Sustainability in Engineering and Design (TISED) is inviting applications for a Course Lecturer position for the Fall 2025 semester. This appointment is for a fractional teaching load of a multidisciplinary project design course focusing on collaborative and sustainable product and service design. The course delivery will be shared with a Professor from the Faculty of Engineering. SEAD 670 is the capstone project course for the students in TISED’s MEng: Sustainability in Engineering and Design program. The course lecturer will be responsible for delivering lectures, participating in the student progress evaluation panels and final assessments of the group design projects. Past experience in leading multidisciplinary teams in sustainable design of infrastructure, products, or processes with significant and quantifiable sustainability attributes. Experience with common sustainability design tools and frameworks such as LEED certification, circular economy, life cycle assessment (LCA) and ecological foot-printing of materials and embodied carbon.
