We are currently seeking Petroleum & Car Wash Service Technicians (Single or Dual Focus) to join our team in Alberta, covering areas from Edmonton north to Fort McMurray. We are always on the lookout for skilled candidates. If you are talented and excel in customer interactions, we can also accommodate positions in Central or Southern Alberta.
The selected individual will travel to customer locations throughout Alberta to perform installation, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of car wash systems, chemical dispensers, and related equipment, such as coin-operated wash bays, rollovers, and full-sized tunnel car wash systems. The role has a dual focus which would include maintaining and servicing petroleum dispensing equipment. Comprehensive training will be provided.
Role Responsibilities:
Apply strong knowledge in repairing and troubleshooting petroleum equipment, with a focus on electrical systems.
Assess, diagnose, consult, source parts, and manage inventory effectively.
Work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with other trades and customers.
Lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) using proper lifting techniques.
Commit to learning and completing all required safety training and applying it to daily duties.
Qualifications:
Must be mechanically inclined with excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of repairing and troubleshooting car wash equipment, along with electrical knowledge and expertise, would be considered assets.
Experience with mechanical repair of high-pressure pumps, hydraulics, and compressors would be an asset.
Previous mechanical or electrical experience, including certified tradespeople, would be considered an asset.
High energy, self-motivated and must have a positive attitude.
Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
Must be able to excel in team setting when required.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Strong customer service experience with the ability to multi-task.
Minimum High School Education. Post-secondary education in electronics or equivalent experience would be considered an asset.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.
Must be willing to travel and be prepared to work on-call (rotation) and overtime.
Training will be provided.
