Consider joining us, if you enjoy:Connecting guests to the extraordinary place we call home.Discovering a broad offering of career pathsLearning and thriving among a group of international hospitality professionalsBeing passionate about people and attentive to the world - we are globetrotters!Going beyond the walls of our hotel to support our community.Taking pride in our differencesThen this could be THE perfect opportunity for you, and we cannot wait to welcome you.#WeAreHamiltonPrincessJob DescriptionReporting to the Activities Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offer professional, engaging and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues to ensure an exceptional guest experienceEnsuring there are sufficient towels in the towel bins and collect additional supplies from the laundry department as neededTest chlorine levels in pool and balance as requiredEnsure pool is vacuumed thoroughly and clean debris as neededCheck water levels in pool and add more water as requiredEnsure there is an empty towel bin available for soiled towels and sufficient trash bins placed around pool areaClean umbrella tables and chairs and sweep pool deck as requiredEnsure office area is clean and tidyClean debris from pool deck and skimmers as requiredDaily supervision of both hotel poolsManaging daily schedules to ensure coverage at both pools during attendant breaksAssist with weekly schedulingAssist department manager with conducting performance reviewsEnsure all required tools & materials are stocked at all times, including conducting monthly inventory checksManage guest supplies and operational inventories and orders to budget.Conduct daily briefings, weekly/monthly departmental communications meetings.Ensure guest requests are met in timely manner and contact the manager on duty for additional support as neededProvide division administration and perform any other function related duties and projects for department as assignedQualificationsValid CPR certification is requiredA lifesaving certificate would be advantageousApplicants must be aware that irregular hours, split shifts and public holiday work may apply to this positionAdditional InformationPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):Sitting - 0-2 hrs/day.Walking - 6-8 hrs/day.Standing - 6-8 hrs/dayBending/Reaching – 6-8 hrs/dayPushing/Pulling - 4 hrs/dayPhysical Effort - Does not lift weight over 50lbs
