Job Description: Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair TCRS fleet of equipment Perform service tasks on our product line ranging from construction tools, small engine equipment such as compaction equipment, pumps to compact construction equipment (e.g. Mini excavators and skid steers,) aerial work platforms Interfaces with customers in the field on service calls in a courteous, business-like manner Candidate Selection will be in accordance with the Collective Agreement Qualifications and Experience Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice Electrician Dual Ticket is an asset Must possess the technical knowledge to perform service tasks on our product line ranging from construction tools, small engine equipment such as compaction equipment, pumps to compact construction equipment (e.g. Mini excavators and skid steers,) aerial work platform equipment as well as knowledge of diesel generators 8 KW to 200 KW Possesses excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and abilities Good understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems Thorough knowledge of gasoline and diesel engine electronic management systems Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detail Completion of Finning S-Levels, Failure Analysis, Machine Electronic Controls, or Tier 4 training would be considered an asset Completion of Caterpillar product specific courses would be considered an asset NOTE: Physical Requirements: Due to physical nature of the work, a requirement of the job is to be considered fit for work.
