Check out this video: https://youtu.be/fdz66L7FBgU Highlights Work closely with Buyers and Suppliers to expedite returns in a cost effective manner Initiate the return of merchandise from Giant Tiger stores to suppliers in a timely manner focusing on inventory investment Follow security procedures when destroying approved merchandise. Assist in the claims process. Assist the Office team in processing transfers in an efficient manner. Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate recording and tracking of inventory. Communication: Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments. Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address inventory-related issues. Time Management: Efficient time management to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changes in workflow and prioritize tasks based on business needs. Physical Stamina: Able to lift 50 pounds consistently through shift Comply with GTW’s policies and procedures as well as OSHA and MSDS Standards Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Perform related work as required by Supervisor Positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Assets 2 years’ + experience in a variety of warehouse functions. Experience in analyzing data from AS/400 and Manhattan applications.
