Hiring Unit: McGill Bieler School of Environment Course Title and Course Number: ENVR 200-01 The Global Environment Estimated Number of Positions: 2 Total Hours of Work per Term: 155 Position Summary: Grades assignments & exams promptly in consultation with instructors; Must be available for grading final exam (Usually within a week after last day of classes) Manages the database of student grades; Responds promptly to communication from course instructors; Holds office hours to respond to student questions following return of assignments & exams. Qualifications: Solid understanding of quantitative, system-level approaches to earth, atmospheric and biological science; Effective written and oral communication skills in English, and preferably in French as well and fluency in English and French sufficient to grade assignments and essay answers on exams; Development and posting of material on the course Web page using MyCourses and demonstrated experience with the use of a virtual learning platforms (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, WebEx) to prepare and assist with any remote delivery of course material.
