The postdoctoral fellow will engage in advanced academic research under the supervision of Dr. Alicia Boatswain-Kyte, contributing to the development of scholarly publications, grant applications, and other knowledge dissemination activities. The fellow will have the opportunity to collaborate on research projects, mentor graduate students, and participate in the academic life of the department. The role is intended to support the fellow’s continued professional development as an independent scholar while strengthening the research capacity of the School in the area of international adoption, with particular attention to the experiences of immigrant and racialized families involved in Quebec’s mixed-bank program and the development of more equitable child welfare practices.
