WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
At Relm Insurance Ltd, our Mission is “To contribute to the building of the future by creating solutions for complex risks in innovative markets.” As we continue leading the way in emerging industries, we are seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President, Actuary to lead our actuarial function and play a key role in this mission. This role is integral to shaping the strategic direction of Relm’s actuarial pricing and reserving across all lines of business. You’ll partner closely with Product, Underwriting, Finance, Risk and Executive Leadership Team to drive profitability, innovation, and compliance in one of the most exciting corners of the insurance industry.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Set and execute the actuarial vision and pricing strategy aligned with Relm’s business goals.
Lead a high-performing team of actuaries and analysts.
Drive development of advanced pricing models, reserving methodologies, and decision-making tools.
Shape and guide the company's use of data and technology in pricing innovation.
Oversee pricing strategy for new and existing products across diverse emerging industries.
Conduct deep actuarial reviews, stress testing across various product lines.
Support the CISSA and ORSA processes, by providing actuarial inputs and modelling as necessary.
Contribute to financial planning and business forecasting.
Ensure timely and accurate reserve calculations and actuarial reporting.
Engage with regulators and auditors, providing expert actuarial insights and documentation.
Engage with Risk Management to strengthen pricing and reserving governance through robust controls documentation and control execution.
Act as a trusted advisor to Executive Leadership on actuarial matters.
Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
7–10+ years of actuarial experience, preferably in a multi-line P&C environment.
Fellow or Associate of a recognized actuarial association (e.g Casualty Actuarial Society, Institute and Faculty of Actuaries or equivalent)
Proven expertise in actuarial pricing, reserving, underwriting strategy, and data analytics.
Deep understanding of emerging insurance markets and a flexible, innovative mindset.
Strong communication, interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proven ability to translate complex actuarial insights into strategic recommendations for Underwriting, Finance, and Executive Leadership
Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing actuarial teams, aligning talent development with strategic business objectives and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
