Mailroom & Print Operator
Operate high-speed mail inserter equipment in a hands-on print production role, preparing critical documents for Canada Post distribution. On-site position in a casual environment. Ideal for mechanically inclined candidates with print or mailroom experience and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
• Operate large-scale insertion machines and perform hand insertion tasks.
• Set up and program insertion equipment based on job specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs to minimize downtime.
• Clean and maintain inserter equipment to ensure high performance.
• Monitor output for consistency and accuracy, ensuring client specifications are met.
• Assist with job documentation and maintain accurate production records.
• Support inventory tracking and materials handling.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of customer satisfaction.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
What you will need to succeed:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Post-secondary technical training or experience (preferred).
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a customer service or production environment.
• Experience operating mailroom or insertion equipment such as W&D Inserter, Quadient (NeoPost), or Pitney Bowes (an asset).
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and maintain production machinery.
• Experience operating large centralized digital equipment.
• Familiarity with finishing and binding equipment (an asset).
• Proficient in using PC applications in a networked environment.
• Ability to detect inconsistencies or quality issues during production.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn and accept direction.
• Strong team player capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to walk, bend, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable performing repetitive manual tasks.
