The Group Functions Technology (GFT), Legal, Compliance and Government Relations (LCG) team is looking for an IT Business Analyst (Fall 2025 co-op). You will work as part of a high-performing team contributing to delivering digital solutions to real-life business problems, while being mentored and guided by competent colleagues in IT Business Analyst roles. The successful applicant will be involved with business requirement gathering, technical development and application support across technology platforms. You will work with our business users along with Risk and Technology teams to enhance, develop and add new functionality to our portfolio of core Compliance, Legal, Investigative Services and Government Relations applications. Position Responsibilities: Work as part of the application support resource for numerous Compliance, Legal, Investigative Services and Government Relations applications at Manulife Assist with measuring and optimizing system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, improving reliability, and innovating to continually improve We have business partners, vendors, and other IT groups within our environment. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Infromation Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Effective communicator who can negotiate effectively with business to clarify needs vs. wants/likes in order to balance business direction/requirements with cost of development and risk You live and breathe operational service improvement.
